oc-claw, published by openclaw and currently at version 1.8.6 (one of three released versions), is a desktop pet application that monitors AI coding agents in real time, falling into the developer tools and desktop utility category. Available for macOS and Windows, it displays an animated desktop pet character that reacts to agent activity, animating when agents are working and sleeping when they are idle, positioned in the macOS notch or the Windows taskbar. The pet visually reflects three states — working, idle, and waiting — allowing developers to monitor the status of their AI coding assistants at a glance without switching windows.
